Christos Staikouras is an accomplished academic and government official with extensive experience in finance and infrastructure. Currently serving as the Minister of Infrastructure & Transport since June 2023, Christos Staikouras previously held the position of Minister of Finance from July 2019 to May 2023 and served as Alternate Minister of Finance from June 2012 to January 2015. Christos Staikouras has also held various academic roles at the Athens University of Economics and Business since July 2002, including Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and currently, Associate Professor on temporary leave.
