Azhar Rana

Azhar Rana, MD, currently serves as the President of Atheris Group, providing medical affairs and strategic communications support within the biotech, pharmaceutical, and healthcare sectors. With extensive experience in genetic neurodevelopmental and metabolic disorders, infectious diseases, immunological conditions, and cardio-metabolic disorders, Azhar has held various leadership roles including Chief Medical Officer and Strategic Advisor at MVMD, as well as a director position at SANSAR, a charitable organization focused on improving cardiovascular health in Canada's South Asian community. Previous appointments include significant roles at integrated medhealth communication and AstraZeneca, where responsibilities encompassed global clinical operations and medical affairs.
