Michael A. Panzara

Michael A. Panzara, MD, MPH joined the Board of Directors in March 2022. He is currently Chief Medical Officer, Neurvati Neurosciences. He has over 20 years of experience developing therapies for neurological disorders having served in leadership roles at Sanofi, Genzyme, and Biogen before his most recent position as Chief Medical Officer and Head of Therapeutics and Development at Wave Life Sciences from 2016-2022.

Dr. Panzara received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, medical degree from Stanford University, trained in neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital with post-doctoral training in immunology and rheumatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and received his Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health.
