Nia Adams has a diverse work experience in the fields of photography, filmmaking, editing, and writing. Nia started their career in 2011 as a Freelance Photographer & Cinematographer for l0veRebel. In 2012, they became the Editor in Chief and Writer for The Lens Magazine, where they focused on showcasing talent from Buffalo State students and alumni. Nia joined P.U.L.S.E. in 2014 as a Marketing and Public Relations Specialist, creating content for social media and volunteering with women shelters and high schools.

In 2017, Nia worked as a Writer for Vashtie. The following year, they joined Dyckman Youth WorldWide as the Director of Photography, leading a team in capturing visual content during live games and optimizing content to increase KPIs. In 2019, Nia joined Foot Locker as a Photographer and Cinematographer.

In 2022, Nia joined Athletes Unlimited as a Video Editor, Video Producer, and Photographer, where they focused on editing promotional videos and capturing live game moments for social media. Nia also joined Victory as a Professional Photographer.

Nia Adams attended Buffalo State University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies. Additionally, in May 2013, Nia Adams received a Certificate of Recognition for their participation in Service-Learning, specifically in the Principles of Public Relations and Advertising program at the State University of New York College in Buffalo.
