Danny Locklear MS. XPS. USAW-1 is a dedicated health educator and sports performance director with a strong background in kinesiology and exercise science. Currently serving as a Health Educator for Anne Arundel County Public Schools and an Adjunct Professor at Anne Arundel Community College, Danny imparts knowledge about personal and community health. As the Director of Sports Performance at Athletic Performance Inc. since September 2017, Danny focuses on enhancing athletes' foundational skills, while also having previously coordinated lacrosse performance and strength conditioning for various athletic teams at Annapolis Area Christian School. Danny holds a Master's degree in Kinesiology from Concordia University Irvine and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Frostburg State University.

Founded in 2004 exclusively a Sports Performance training program, API opened the doors to its first training facility In Millersville, MD during the fall of 2005. The support of the surrounding communities provided API the opportunity for expansion in 2008 and most recently 2011 to the company's current location in Gambrills, MD. API, Maryland’s Premier Athletic Campus, is centrally located between Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington and is now the home to over 10,000 athletes and families with over 250,000 visitors each year. Boasting over 90,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor sporting attractions, API's athletic campus includes 40,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor artificial Turf Fields, two (2) multi-sport Flex Courts, three (3) outdoor Tennis Courts, a 2,500 sq ft Baseball & Softball Studio and a 7,500 sq ft Sports Performance and Fitness Center. As the API physical location has evolved over the past 10 years, so have the services we provide. Today API offer's a vast menu of services suited to meet the needs of today's recreational or competitive athlete, coaches and the sports-minded family.
