Athletic Trainers in the Physician Practice Society
Tim Nicolello is an experienced professional in the field of athletic training and program management, currently serving as the Director of Network and Program Development at Össur since June 2024. Holding the position of President and a member of the Board of Directors for the Athletic Trainers in the Physician Practice Society since October 2017, Tim also contributes as a Network Athletic Trainer for the U.S. Soccer Federation since April 2019. Prior experience includes significant roles at St. Luke's Health System, where responsibilities encompassed orthopedic service line leadership and management of joint replacement programs, alongside hands-on clinical athletic training experience. Tim's educational background includes a Master's of Science in Athletic Training from A.T. Still University and a Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Idaho.

Athletic Trainers in the Physician Practice Society aims to provide support to athletic trainers working in the physician practice through research, information, educational opportunities, updates and networking. Our mission is to sponsor annual conferences that will allow the opportunity for presentations and information to be shared, to provide opportunities for athletic trainers to meet and exchange the latest ideas regarding research and the future of athletic training in the physician practice setting, as well as to create evidence-based research and publications developed by the Society.
