Sarah Black

Sarah Black is a seasoned professional in athletic therapy and inclusive sports programming, currently serving as a Co-Owner and Certified Athletic Therapist at The Athlete Centre since November 2016 and as Para Performance Manager for Athletics Canada since January 2019. With a strong background in managing athletic therapy services and developing strength and conditioning programs, Sarah has founded Athletic Therapy Plus and previously worked as an Independent Contractor for OneAbility, focusing on inclusive programming. Sarah's expertise is further demonstrated through instructional roles at WCCMT, alongside extensive experience as a Lead Therapist at Rowing Canada Aviron, and as an Adapted Strength & Conditioning Specialist at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence. Sarah holds a Master's degree in High Performance Coaching and Technical Leadership from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy from Camosun College.
