Liam Powell

Liam Powell is a Senior Strategist at Athletics. For the past decade, he has worked across brand, architectural, and experiential design practices in New York City, with a particular focus on textual, language-based expression and identity. His work with founder-entrepreneurs spans a swathe of categories, from consumer technology & skincare to commercial furniture & cannabis, as does his experience with institutional clients like Airbnb, Google, WarnerMedia Group, and the Dubai Future Foundation. Born and raised in Massachusetts, he is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of the Arts and of Boston College. He is a poet & writer whose work has been published & anthologized, and a musician whose bands have fallen apart. Prior to Athletics, he worked for Rapt Studio, an interdisciplinary brand, experience, & architectural agency based in NY, SF, & LA.
