Doug Samuels has extensive experience in football coaching and content management. Currently serving as the Director of Content at FootballScoop since October 2010, Doug also holds roles as a Head Football Coach at Comstock Park High School and as a top columnist for Athlon Sports. Additional leadership positions include serving as the Region 3 Director for the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association and the Director for the AFCA High School Committee Region 4. With a coaching background that spans several schools, including positions as the Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator at Holland West Ottawa High School and Head Coach at Ravenna High School, Doug combines practical coaching expertise with a solid educational foundation, holding both a Master's degree in Teaching from Rockford University and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development from Defiance College.
