Luke Easterling

Luke Easterling is an experienced NFL Draft Writer at Athlon Sports, providing in-depth content on player rankings, prospect profiles, mock drafts, and analysis since March 2023. Prior to this role, Luke served as Editor for Draft Wire and Bucs Wire at USA TODAY Sports Media Group, managing all content related to the NFL Draft and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from June 2016 to March 2023. Additional relevant experience includes positions at Sports Illustrated for on-site coverage of the Buccaneers, and founding The Draft Report, where analysis and predictions on the NFL Draft were offered. Earlier roles include Senior Director at Bradstreet Sports and various positions in sports journalism, including columnist and page designer at The Tampa Tribune. Luke holds an Associate of Arts degree in American Studies from the University of South Florida.
