Lorna Walsh

Lorna Walsh serves as the Director of Research Support Services and Funded Research Manager at the Technology University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus, since June 2003. Responsibilities include managing funding opportunities for academic staff, representing the institute in various forums, and developing research strategies. Lorna has also held roles such as Industrial Liaison Manager and has actively participated in initiatives such as the National Research Integrity Forum and the European Open Science Committee Future User Group. Educational qualifications include a recent completion of the Aurora Women in Leadership Programme and various degrees in marketing and project management from institutions including Durham University Business School and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
