Elmien Roode

Elmien Roode is an experienced professional with a strong background in change management and finance transformation. Currently serving as Portfolio Lead and Program Manager for Finance Transformation at Athora since September 2022, Elmien has held significant roles including IFRS 17 Programme Manager at Old Mutual South Africa and Vice President of ERP & Application Services at Sasol. With a solid foundation in risk management and project coordination, roles have included positions at BHP Billiton, Kumba Iron Ore, and Accenture. Elmien holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Education also includes studies at the University of Cape Town.
