Uwe Obermaier

Uwe Obermaier is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in application development and support, infrastructure management, and IT operations across various companies. Currently serving as the Interim Application Development Lead at Athora Germany since April 2022, Uwe focuses on the development of Policy Administration Systems using Agile methodologies. Uwe has held multiple roles at Athora since June 2018, including Application Support Lead and IT Service Manager, where responsibilities include harmonizing legacy insurance applications and enhancing application security through continuous release automation. Previous positions include significant leadership roles at Randstad Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, Veritas AG, and others, where Uwe demonstrated expertise in IT strategy development, project management, and operational oversight in diverse environments. Uwe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Programming from Edmonds College and has furthered education at DAA Wiesbaden.
