Merijn Schut

Merijn Schut has a diverse work experience. Merijn started their career in 2007 at Alex Beleggersbank as a Servicedesk staff. In 2009, they worked as an Internship/Werkstudent at Towers Perrin. From 2010 to 2016, they joined Willis Towers Watson as a Senior Consultant. In 2016, they moved to ABN AMRO Bank N.V. where they served as a Senior Advisor Strategic Risk until 2019. Additionally, while at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., they also held the role of Manager Integrated Risk Management from 2019 to 2021. In 2019, they became a Niet-uitvoerend bestuurder at ABN AMRO Pensioenfonds. Currently, they are working as a Director of Risk Management at Athora Netherlands since 2021.

Merijn Schut completed a MSc degree in Actuarial Science and Mathematical Finance from the University of Amsterdam from 2004 to 2009. In 2011, they pursued an Amsterdam Executive Master of Actuarial Science (AAG) degree at the Amsterdam Business School, which they completed in 2012. In the following year, they attended the CFA Institute and earned a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from 2012 to 2014.
