My girlfriend (7 years now) is my 3rd-grade cousin. I almost feel like Jon & Daenerys.


I know a lot about mattresses haha, knowledge is useful once every 7 years, basically when you need to change it


I love specialty coffee and did a Barista course


I moved to Malta in 2016, without any prospects. All I knew is that I wanted to live there :)


I'm an enthusiastic hobbyist with a touch of commitment phobia. I've tried everything from painting, pottery, and sculpting to printmaking, pilates, yoga, and so much more.

I once sailed a 42 foot catamaran through the Caribbean for 12 hours into the eye or Hurricane Matthew. We were somewhere between Mexico and Belize and I had zero experience. And we survived!


While in the UK studying for my Undergraduate Degree I started my own skateboarding company, which eventually turned out to become a Community Skateboarding Initiative, financed by the local council.


Now that I work remotely, I don't know how "fun fact" this is, I can start bringing my dog ​​home to sleep with me again!

What's the best professional advice you ever received?

Be always polite and do not answer emails angry...you´ll probably miss out on a perspective. Draft something and take a walk...

Be curious and learn from all departments so you really understand how it all connects. It is the best way for your contributions to have a positive and long term impact on your company.

How do you like to run meetings?

Taina

I like to start weekly team meetings with an activity or a random question. It's a great way to get to know each other, particularly if there are team members located in different countries and don't get so see each other in person. I also like structure, so I like to have an agenda where everyone adds items before hand. It makes meetings more efficient in my opinion.

What was the last book you read?

Da Vinci Code


Pillars of Earth. Took me a whole year. Never ever again will I read any book so long.

Foundation by Isaac Asimov. I am a big read and also like scifi.

When are you most productive during the day?

Morning time, after a good shower I can make it through long hours, really focused. I'm very lucid at morning time.

What part of your job gives you most energy?

helping my colleagues


Creating a wonderfully skilled and versatile team that delivers, overdelivers and continuously does so for both customers and the company. Ensuring that we have fun along the way and overcome any hardships as a team.

What do people misunderstand about you?

People tend to think that I am a person with a more serious profile but when they really know me they realize that it is not so.
