Diego Guzman Uribe

Diego Guzman Uribe has worked as the Principal Chief Executive Officer at Atica-Industria Ambiental since March 2016. During their time there, they successfully executed 9 mergers and acquisitions within 4 years, transforming the company into a one-stop shop service provider for industrial solid and water waste management in Colombia. Diego also has plans to expand this business model to other countries.

Prior to their role at Atica-Industria Ambiental, Diego worked as the General Director at C.I Ecoeficiencia S.A.S starting in January 2012. Diego transformed the company from a financially struggling business into a profitable one, leading to its sale to a financial investor. Diego'sstrategy involved implementing innovative services, products, and higher service standards.

Before that, Diego was a founding partner at Reciclyca from May 2011 to December 2011. Diego'smain achievement was creating a business model for economically feasible handling of industrial wood waste in the Colombian market. At the time of the company's merger with Ecoeficiencia S., the founders obtained a 6.2x return on investment within 18 months.

Diego's earlier experience includes working as the Bogota Manager at Aceros Industriales S.A. from September 2004 to April 2011.

Diego Guzman Uribe attended Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia from 1996 to 2002, where they earned a degree in Industrial Engineering. Additionally, they briefly attended ECL from 1999 to 2000, although no degree or field of study is specified.
