Shannon Ruth Dionne Miller is an experienced outreach worker and advocate with a focus on community support and social justice. Currently employed as an Outreach Worker at Connective, Shannon supports community living in British Columbia by developing intervention and support plans for individuals facing multiple barriers. Additionally, Shannon serves as a Tenant Support at Luma Native Housing Society, facilitating supportive housing for vulnerable communities, and engages in outreach and advocacy for women in the Downtown Eastside as part of Atira Women's Resource Society. At the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre, Shannon provides shelter support to individuals at risk of homelessness and addiction. As a seasoned interdisciplinary artist and principal of Shannon Ruth Dionne Photography, Shannon has also co-founded Mentez Productions and has a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Emily Carr University, emphasizing social practice and community engagement.
