Drew Mason

Drew Mason, P.E. is an experienced project manager and engineer with a strong background in underground construction and mining operations. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Atkinson Construction since June 2017, Drew has successfully managed significant projects, including a $46M SEM Tunnel Project in San Diego, CA, and a $50M pipeline project in San Antonio, TX. Previously, at M-Class Mining Company as Chief Engineer, Drew handled MSHA-related plans and mine infrastructure installations. In earlier roles at Peabody Energy, Drew contributed to the Wolf Creek Seam Project Development and gained hands-on experience through rotational positions across various mining operations. Drew holds a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Penn State University.
