Dan Heffernan

Dan Heffernan is a seasoned professional in social value and career development, currently serving as Strategic Social Value Lead at AtkinsRéalis and Regional Social Value Lead in the UK&I since April 2022. Dan holds a position on the LSIP Operating Board for the West Midlands and Warwickshire with the Department for Education and chairs the Regional Cornerstone Employer Group for the West Midlands Combined Authority. Previously, Dan led strategic initiatives for young people and careers at D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership and has experience with Envision and The Challenge, focusing on connecting educational institutions with employers. Dan's career began at Derbyshire Constabulary and includes a background in law and criminology from Nottingham Trent University.
