João Silva - Msc

João Silva is a Civil Engineer with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering - Structural Mechanics from Universidade de Coimbra. Currently serving as the EPR2 - Building Technical Lead of the Turbine Halls (HMA) and Civil & Structural Discipline Lead at Bridgwater Tidal Barrier with AtkinsRéalis since July 2022, João has previously held key roles at Rendel Limited from September 2017 to June 2022, including Project Lead, Project Manager, and Structural Engineer for Hinkley Point C. João's earlier experience includes a position as Structural Design Engineer at Konecranes, working on the Crossrail project, and as Junior Structural Engineer at BERD, where responsibilities encompassed structural calculations and logistics management. Additionally, João coordinated and counseled at Run & Slide from August 2011 to August 2014. João is a Chartered Engineer registered with the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).
