Shailen Bhatt

Shailen Bhatt currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the United States and Latin America at AtkinsRéalis, beginning in September 2024. Prior experience includes roles such as Federal Highway Administrator at the Federal Highway Administration, Senior Vice President for Global Transportation Innovation and Alternative Delivery at AECOM, and President and CEO of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America. Bhatt has also held significant positions in state transportation departments, including Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Transportation and Secretary of Transportation in Delaware. Additionally, Bhatt contributed to federal initiatives as an Associate Administrator for Policy and Government Affairs at the Federal Highway Administration. Educational achievements include completing the Senior Executives in State and Local Government Leadership Program at Harvard Kennedy School and earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Western Kentucky University.
