Atlanta BeltLine
Lynnette Reid currently serves as the Vice President of Planning, Engagement and Arts & Culture at Atlanta BeltLine, having transitioned from their previous role as Director of Planning. With extensive experience in community planning, Lynnette has been instrumental in policy development, community engagement, and master planning at Atlanta BeltLine since joining the organization as a Senior Community Planner in 2011. Prior to their tenure at Atlanta BeltLine, Lynnette was the Service Programming and Production Team Leader at Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church, showcasing over 15 years of event production expertise. Lynnette's career also includes significant contributions as a Senior Land Use Planner in Fulton County, where planning priorities and compliance evaluations were key responsibilities. Lynnette holds a Master's Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science/Public Administration with a minor in African American Studies from The College of New Jersey.
Atlanta BeltLine
The Atlanta BeltLine is the most comprehensive economic development effort ever undertaken in the City of Atlanta and among the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment and mobility projects currently underway in the United States. The Atlanta BeltLine is a sustainable redevelopment project that will provide a network of public parks, multi-use trails and transit along a historic 22-mile railroad corridor circling downtown and connecting many neighborhoods directly to each other. Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) is the entity tasked with planning and executing the implementation of the Atlanta BeltLine in partnership with other public and private organizations, including City of Atlanta departments.
