Lesley Yates

Lesley Yates is currently a volunteer at Atlanta Community Food Bank, where significant contributions include sorting and packing goods to feed over 2,000 families in a single session. Previous experience includes roles as a Team Member at Burger King and Fellow at Braven, in addition to serving as a Juror, Advisor, and Defense Attorney at Town of Clifton Park Youth Court from October 2017 to June 2020, focusing on offender rehabilitation and self-improvement. Lesley also worked as a Retail Sales and Customer Service Associate at MARSHALLS LLC, ensuring store organization and customer assistance. Volunteer efforts extend to Joseph's House & Shelter, providing meals, and participation in the Envision NYLF Law & CSI program. Education consists of a Bachelor's degree in U.S./African American History from Spelman College, with a summer class in Economics from Duke University and a high school diploma from Shenendehowa Central School District. Lesley has also received an award from the University at Albany.
