Matthew C. Bauder

Matthew joined the Atlanta Consulting Group in 2010 as an investment analyst. He is now a partner and one of ACG's consultants. He focuses on providing investment consulting to defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, endowments, foundations and family offices.

In addition to his role as a consultant, he leads many of the investment research efforts of the group. He works on asset allocation and modeling, manager due diligence and selection, and performance evaluation. Matthew also works on a multitude of additional services for clients including liability driven investing (LDI), evaluation of alternative assets, liquid alternative research, manager searches and client and committee education.

Prior to joining the Atlanta Consulting Group, Matthew spent 10 years at AllianceBernstein. From 1999 to 2005, he was an associate portfolio manager and portfolio analyst in the value equities group. From 2005 on, he served as a research analyst working on a variety of published Bernstein Blackbooks, which are well known and widely respected for their independent, objective and thorough company and industry forecasts.

Matthew earned a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society Atlanta.
