Lisa Washington currently serves as Deputy General Counsel for the Atlanta Housing Authority, where responsibilities include supervising and conducting closings for over 40 new construction and preservation developments, resulting in the addition of more than 5,000 mixed-income and affordable housing units to the Atlanta area. Washington has also contributed to the development of community amenities, including a new library, YMCAs, and an elementary school. Prior to this role, Washington worked as an Associate at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP from 1999 to 2001. Washington earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law after completing a Bachelor's degree at Georgetown University.
