Brian Kammer is a staff attorney at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society's Home Defense Program, where Brian advocates in defense against home foreclosure for vulnerable populations. Previously, Brian served as the Director of The Habeas Project at Mercer University School of Law, a legal clinic specializing in non-capital habeas corpus practice in Georgia. Additionally, Brian was the Executive Director of the Georgia Resource Center, a non-profit law office providing free representation to death sentenced prisoners in Georgia. Brian has a BA in Japan Studies from Earlham College and a law degree from Northeastern University School of Law.

The Atlanta Legal Aid Society has represented Atlanta's poor in civil legal cases since 1924. Our work helps our clients deal with some of life's most basic needs -- a safe home, enough food to eat, a decent education, protection against fraud, and personal safety. Our clients come from Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett Counties in Georgia.
