Xavier Stevens

Xavier Stevens is a skilled editorial professional with a diverse background in journalism and media. Currently serving as the Managing Editor at Atlanta Magazine since August 2023, Xavier previously held the position of Assistant Editor of Emory Life at The Emory Wheel, where responsibilities included budget preparation, story editing, and layout design. Earlier experience includes an internship at Atlanta Magazine, contributing feature stories, and fact-checking articles, as well as serving as an Undergraduate Researcher for The Georgia Civil Rights Cold Cases Project. In prior roles at Reedy Press, LLC, Xavier gained experience in editorial assistance, event coordination, and marketing, enhancing skills in manuscript proofreading, digital promotions, and author networking. Xavier earned a degree from Emory University and attended Morehouse College.
