Anthony Ashley

Anthony Ashley has extensive work experience in fleet operations and maintenance. Anthony started their career in 1995 at MARTA, where they worked as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Superintendent, and later as a Bus Maintenance General Superintendent. During their time at MARTA, they oversaw a maintenance location and managed a team of over 80 people, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of 180+ buses. In 2019, they joined Atlanta Public Schools as a Fleet Manager and later became the Senior Director of Fleet Operations. In this role, they were responsible for managing the procurement, maintenance, and sales of the school district's fleet of 400 buses and 290 support vehicles. Anthony also negotiated contracts with vendors and oversaw outsourced work.

Anthony Ashley earned a Bachelor of Industrial Technology in Business Administration and Aviation Maintenance from Andrews University from 1981 to 1985. Anthony also obtained a certification as a Certified Ethics Associate from MSI in 2023.
