Chaundra Gipson

Chaundra Gipson is an experienced education professional currently serving as a School Governance Coordinator at Atlanta Public Schools since August 2016. Previously, Chaundra worked as a Research Assistant at the National Center on Scaling Up Effective Schools, where responsibilities included conducting qualitative research and developing assessment tools. As a Policy and Advocacy Fellow for Leadership for Educational Equity, recommendations were provided on early childhood education and charter school transitions. Chaundra's teaching experience at Fulton County Schools included managing the RTI process and significantly improving student performance. Earlier roles involved strategic consulting and communications at Raytheon and an internship at GE Energy. Chaundra Gipson holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy Analysis from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and Business Administration from the University of Florida.
