Daniel Drake

Daniel Drake currently serves as the Executive Director of Facilities Services for Atlanta Public Schools, overseeing key departments related to facilities management. Prior to this role, Daniel held significant positions within the DeKalb County School District, including Interim Chief Operations Officer and Executive Director of Operations, where responsibilities encompassed leadership of operations, facilities management for a vast number of schools, and the development of capital programs. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Public Works for the City of Milton and roles at CDM Smith and the State Road & Tollway Authority, where Daniel contributed to transportation planning and policy development. Academically, Daniel holds advanced degrees in Civil Engineering and Urban Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and a high school diploma from Loyola Academy.
