Shaun Heckstall

Shaun Heckstall has over 15 years of experience in educational leadership, currently serving as a leader in Innovative Online K-12 Education at Atlanta Public Schools since July 2014, focusing on post-COVID educational opportunities for urban students. Previous roles include Principal, Assistant Principal, and Teacher Leader, emphasizing data-driven instruction and strategic planning for continuous school improvement. Shaun also contributes as an emotional intelligence content creator on The Overflow YouTube Channel and has a background in pastoral leadership as Senior Pastor at Abundant Word Church.
