Tanasha Mahone is an experienced educator and policy specialist with a robust background in leadership and implementation of educational programs. Currently serving as an MTSS/504 Specialist and Elementary Educator at Atlanta Public Schools since July 2017, Tanasha emphasizes Social Emotional Learning principles and utilizes a transdisciplinary approach within the International Baccalaureate framework. As Regional Policy Director with The Urban Leaders Fellowship, Tanasha oversees a cohort of fellows, focusing on leadership development and community outreach. Previously, Tanasha participated as a School Ambassador Fellow with the U.S. Department of Education, where significant projects centered around SEL and post-pandemic wellness were conducted.
