Barry Skillington

Barry Skillington has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Barry started their career at Aidells Sausage Company as a Product Development Manager from an unknown start date until 2005. Barry then joined Dairygold Co-Operative Society Ltd as a New Product Development Manager from 2005 to 2008. After that, they became the Managing Director of Skillfood Ltd. from 2008 to 2012, where they worked closely with food industry clients on developing business cases and new products. Currently, Barry is the Chief Commercial Officer at Atlantia Food Clinical Trials since May 2015, leading a dynamic Business Development team that supports a global client base.

Barry Skillington completed their Master's degree in Sales Management at Dublin Technical University from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Food Science and Technology at University College Cork from 1990 to 1991. Barry also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical and Animal Nutrition, which they obtained from the same university from 1987 to 1990. Barry's education background demonstrates their expertise in various fields, including sales management, food science, and nutrition.
