Celeste Kmiotek

Staff Lawyer, Strategic Litigation Project at ATLANTIC COUNCIL OF THE UNITED STATES

Celeste Kmiotek is a legal professional with extensive experience in international human rights law and strategic litigation. Currently serving as a Staff Lawyer for the Strategic Litigation Project at the Atlantic Council since November 2021, Kmiotek previously held the role of Legal Fellow at REDRESS from October 2020 to October 2021. Kmiotek's formative experience includes serving as a Student Attorney at the Harvard International Human Rights Clinic and a Legal Intern at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia and UNDP. With a Doctor of Law degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English from Fordham University, Kmiotek also pursued study abroad in Egyptology at The American University in Cairo. Prior to a legal career, Kmiotek held various editorial and digital production roles at Pearson from 2012 to 2017.
