Brookie's prior roles include Senior Director and Managing Editor at the DFRLab, as well as involvement with initiatives focusing on democracy and technology. Additionally, Brookie holds an adjunct professor position at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service and participates in advisory roles at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Previous experience includes strategic communications advising within the National Security Council at The White House. Educational background includes studies at American University and The London School of Economics and Political Science.
