Melanie Chen

Melanie Chen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and consultancy roles within the energy and finance sectors. Currently serving as the Founding Chair of the Caribbean Energy Chamber since January 2024, Melanie has also contributed as a Board Director and founder of the Caribbean Initiative at the Atlantic Council since December 2014. Previous roles include Consultant and Board Member at a Family Office from 2009 to 2015, and Managing Director at Morgan Stanley from 1998 to 2009. Melanie began a career at Salomon Brothers Inc as an Associate from 1992 to 1998. Educational credentials include a degree from Imperial College London (1988-1992) and attendance at Roedean School, Brighton (1981-1987).
