Ryan Arick

Associate Director, Transatlantic Security Initiative at ATLANTIC COUNCIL OF THE UNITED STATES

Ryan Arick is currently the Associate Director of the Transatlantic Security Initiative at the Atlantic Council, where involvement began in November 2022, following a role as Assistant Director within the same initiative. Prior experience includes positions at the National Endowment for Democracy from August 2019 to November 2022, where Ryan served as Assistant Program Officer and Program Assistant for the International Forum for Democratic Studies. Additionally, Ryan worked as a Project Assistant at the National Democratic Institute, focusing on Central and Eastern European studies, particularly in relation to democratic governance and youth engagement. Earlier career roles include various internships focused on community development and political campaigns, and educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Law and Public Policy and International Relations from Indiana University Bloomington and the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
