Tim Reuter

Associate Director, Prospect Research at ATLANTIC COUNCIL OF THE UNITED STATES

Tim Reuter is the Associate Director of Prospect Research at the Atlantic Council of the United States. Tim has over three years of experience working in research and analytics, with a focus on identifying and evaluating potential donors. Prior to their current position, Tim worked as a Research Analyst on the Central Team at Yale University. In this role, they were responsible for proactively identifying new annual and campaign major gift and principal gift prospects, preparing reports for use by university administrators, and leading list management of portfolios. Tim was also responsible for maintaining prospective and upgraded donor data.

During their time at Yale, Tim made significant contributions to the department, including improving data quality and increasing operational efficiency by implementing detailed research initiatives. Tim also increased the number of completed briefings from 1 briefing every 1.5 days to 2-3 briefings per day by investing additional time upfront on research and identifying valuable data. In addition, Tim trained department members on analysis of financial documents and the intricacies of political giving.

Tim’s experience in research and donor relations makes him an invaluable asset to the Atlantic Council of the United States. Their ability to identify potential donors and their understanding of the complex process of soliciting donations makes him uniquely qualified for their role as Associate Director of Prospect Research.

Tim Reuter has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University in the City of New York.
