Ric Chernesky

Ric Chernesky has extensive experience in power plant management and operations, spanning over four decades. Currently serving as the Frederickson Power Plant Manager at Atlantic Power Corporation since October 2001, Ric has developed a strong expertise in overseeing plant operations. Prior to this role, Ric held multiple positions at Capital Power Corporation from June 1991 to October 2001, including Operations Superintendent, Project Coordinator, and Plant Operator. Ric's career began at SaskPower, where multiple roles as a Plant Operator were undertaken from June 1978 to June 1991. This diverse background reflects a deep commitment to the energy sector and effective plant management.
