Lamaya Williams

LaMaya Williams is an accomplished marketing professional with experience in the music industry, currently serving as the Assistant to the Vice President of Digital Marketing at Atlantic Records since January 2023. Previously, Williams held a marketing internship at For Real Records, managing direct marketing strategies, event scheduling, and financial negotiations. Experience also includes a role at Universal Music Group, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing visual content production and client relations, as well as conducting A&R consulting. Early career positions include working as a bar back at Sound-Bar and as a Student Activities Coordinator at the University of Kentucky Student Activities Board, where marketing strategies and advertisements were developed. LaMaya Williams holds a Master's degree in Economics from Howard University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and Management with a minor in Communications from the University of Kentucky.
