Gonzalo Martin

Gonzalo Martin is an experienced professional in the field of sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy, currently serving as Country Manager for Italy at Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc since October 2022. Prior roles include positions as Advisor and Secretary General at Protermosolar, and Country Manager for South Africa at Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure. Gonzalo has also held the role of Head of Strategy & Public R&D Financing at Abengoa and been involved in various capacities within the renewable energy sector since beginning an R&D engineering career at Abengoa in 2007. Gonzalo holds a Ph.D. from Universidad de Sevilla, as well as multiple degrees and certifications from prestigious institutions, including an MBA from Copenhagen Business School and project management training from LOYOLA Executive Education.
