Danielle Sharkey

Danielle Sharkey currently serves as Vice President of Quality and Safety at AtlantiCare, a position held since August 2025. Previously, Danielle held the role of Chief Quality Officer at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System from June 2022 to August 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing system-wide quality activities and regulatory compliance. Danielle's extensive experience at Cooper University Health Care spanned over two decades, including roles as Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety and Assistant Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety, focusing on patient safety, performance improvement, and integration of population health strategies. Early in the career, Danielle worked as Patient Safety Manager and Advanced Practice Nurse at Cooper University Health Care and as a Registered Nurse at Virtua Health. Danielle holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Holy Family University.
