James Hunnicutt

James Hunnicutt is a seasoned water utility management professional with extensive experience in overseeing complex water and wastewater operations. Currently serving as the Vice President of Water Plant Operations at Atlantis Bahamas since October 2021, James manages Paradise Island Utilities, which includes multiple SWRO drinking water plants, wastewater treatment facilities, and water distribution systems. Prior to this role, James held the position of Groundwater Facilities Manager at Cape Fear Public Utility Authority from October 2017 to October 2021, overseeing significant groundwater systems and a reverse osmosis water treatment plant. James's earlier experience includes various roles in Brunswick County and the Town of Wrightsville Beach, as well as service as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force from 1999 to 2006.
