Kathleen Melo

Kathleen Melo, MHL, CHC, CHPC, currently serves as the Vice President of Mental Health at Sanitas, USA, overseeing Mental Health and Social Services since August 2021. In addition, Kathleen holds a position as a Professor in the Master’s in Science in Healthcare Management Program at Atlantis University since October 2021. Prior consulting experience includes serving as a Regulatory Compliance Consultant at Kmelo Consulting from October 2020 to July 2021. Kathleen has held executive roles in behavioral health, including Chief Executive Officer of Oglethorpe, Inc. and Southern Winds Hospital. Kathleen also worked at Westchester General Hospital, Inc. for over two decades as Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and Operations Officer. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Health Law from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and a Bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University.
