John Jester

Captain

John Jester is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background spanning multiple roles in the industry. With significant experience as a Chief Accident Investigator for both the Air Line Pilots Association and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, John has contributed to accident prevention, analysis, and investigation, notably serving as Party Coordinator for the NTSB investigation into the Atlas 3591 crash. As a Captain with Air Wisconsin Airlines and Atlas Air, John managed international flight operations, while also fulfilling leadership roles as Ramp Manager and Quality Assurance Specialist at Independence Airlines. Currently, John owns Start 4 and 1 Aviation LLC, providing global aviation support and consulting. Additionally, John has been an active volunteer pilot with the Civil Air Patrol since 1993, holding various leadership positions. John Jester holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Elon University.
