Tim Sowder

Tim Sowder possesses extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Tim's career began at L-3 Communications as a Production Planner, where responsibilities included scheduling and managing material requirements. Tim transitioned to BAE Systems as a Senior Buyer/Planner, negotiating supplier pricing and managing a procurement budget of $500,000 per month. Following this, Tim served as a Buyer at Seatrax Marine Crane, overseeing an average monthly spend of $1.25 million in raw materials. From February 2014 to June 2017, Tim worked as a Purchasing Agent at Jameson LLC, handling purchases for various departments both domestically and internationally. Most recently, Tim has been employed as a Purchaser at Atlas Copco since March 2022, and previously held the position of Purchasing Buyer at Coroplast Tape Corporation. Tim has also completed APICS training and holds a background in Quality Assurance from Eastern Kentucky University.
