Christopher Padin, P.E., S.E. is the Founding Principal of Atlas Design Group, Inc., a structural engineering consulting firm focusing on affordable housing, multi-family, senior living, and mixed-use projects in Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Prior to founding the firm, Christopher worked as an Adjunct Professor Of Structural Engineering at Seattle University, as well as gaining experience as a Structural Project Engineer at Coughlin Porter Lundeen, a Material Lab Engineer at Seattle Public Utilities, and a Project Engineer at Ceccanti, Inc. He holds a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from Seattle University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

OUR FIRM Founded in 2019, Atlas Design Group Inc. was founded by Christopher Padin , and Jason Trail. Their vision was to create an engineering firm that would bring customer service and technical expertise to the forefront of the client experience. Not bound by the "old way of doing things", this allows their creativity on projects to truly shine by adding equity and value to every project they design. OUR EXPERTISE Atlas Design Group, Inc. specializes in affordable housing, senior living, multi-family, and mixed-use projects. Our engineers have designed thousands of housing units in Washington, Idaho, and Montana with more projects on the way. We also specialize in contractor means-and-methods engineering, and have experience designing temporary shoring, design-build elements, as well as tower crane foundations. Our biggest strength is in designing ways of giving back to our community. We are volunteers, advocates, and champions for affordable housing initiatives and focus our energy in designing these kinds of projects as much as possible.
