Benigno Castro Bellón Eur Ing CEng has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Benigno started their career in 1994, working in several positions from scholarships to Quality Manager and Marine Surveyor at companies in Spain such as Astano, Gonsusa, and Sermap. In 2001, they became a Surveyor for Germanischer Lloyd Espańa, S.L. In 2003, they joined Germanischer Lloyd as a Senior Business Manager at the Naval Projects Department, where they were responsible for worldwide naval market development and acquisition, training and support to clients, attending exhibitions and conferences, as well as Rules and Regulations development. In 2009, they moved to DNV GL - Maritime as a Principal Engineer and Project Manager, where they managed and delivered Merchant and Navy New Building classification projects. Benigno also served as the Operational Manager Greenhouse Gases Verification, leading the production related to the EU MRV and IMO DCS services. In 2019, they joined ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbH as a Sales Manager in the Naval Weapons Division, and in 2020, they were promoted to Director Product Sales Naval Weapons. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong project management skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of complex and long-duration projects.
