Ramona Stach is a Senior Development Engineer at Atlas Elektronik since July 2013, specializing in software and system engineering for autonomous underwater vehicles, including the SeaCat. Ramona's expertise encompasses software design authority, model-based design approaches, and system architecture, with a focus on autonomous rendezvous, docking, obstacle detection, and tracking algorithms. Prior to this role, Ramona served as a GNC System Engineer at Astrium from October 2009 to June 2013, where responsibilities included developing GNC algorithms for various missions and software integration. Ramona began an academic career as a Research Associate at the University of Bremen, conducting research on nonlinear optimization and control theory from October 2005 to August 2009. Ramona holds a Dr.-Ing. and a Dipl. math. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Bremen.
