Basar Civelek

Basar Civelek has over 30 years of experience in engineering and academia. Basar is currently serving as the Chief Structural Engineer at Atlas Engineering Group, Ltd. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Structural Engineer at DB Sterlin Consultants, Inc., where they were involved in highway and rail transportation projects and bridge inspection. Basar also held the position of Associate Professor at Işık University. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Principal Structural Engineer at Jacobs Engineering and as a Project Engineer at Sargent and Lundy.

Basar Civelek pursued their education from 1969 to 1972 at Lehigh University, where they completed a Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics.
